Another option is to get an external USB enclosure and insert the SATA drive. You can utilize your USB slot on your computer, and you can connect additional drives in the future if this one fills up. All you really need is a Sata to IDE card adapter which is $5 Bucks on ebay all day long. Plugs into the SATA device making it IDE Compatible, Simple and cheap!
