@froochie123 im lookin at one right now.. i have a couple of freinds who have them, and they say there kick ass bikes

@froochie123 get it.... they are good bikes. dont listen to the pompous name droppers. it's stupid to spend a zillion dollars when there's superb stuff for far less.

Ive been looking at some of the Motobecane bikes and was wondering about the quality because they cost allot less than other brands. Such as a Trek or Gary Fisher outfitted with the same components cost around 1 or 2 grand more.

Me too, more like moto-beh-cane.
The truth is that the french way would sound "mohto-beh-can"

I agree. I've been looking for a Motobecane Road bike and I get the same tire response from "expert" cyclists. But from people who've actually owned one...I only hear praise. I just think some people talk crap about Moto simply because it's not a conspicuous consumption bike.

Hi, I am looking to buy a 2009 Motobecane Fantom HT trail. I am 6'5" 300 lbs. Will this bike handle me? The riding will be cruising street roads and dirt fire roads so nothing hardcore. Thanks!

i have the fly pro its sweet!

I have a Motobecane Fantom Pro 29er. love it, simply amazing, and cannot come anywhere close for price/components on any other bike!
I really want to buy one. The name brand people tell me not to but I don't see how they can be a waste of money, they're components are priced better than building the bike yourself.
