  • Good mechanics. Ignore the ignorant/mal-intentioned comment directly preceding this one. The hips and the delivery of the pitch should explode forward IN UNISON, just as in this video. (And who knows what that nonsense "arm should not go up" is all about. Doesn't matter.) Again, the mechanics demonstrated in this video are good and should help young softball players trying to learn how to pitch.

  • bad form your arm should not go up and the hip should not close until the ball is gone. old way of pitching

  • nice and smooth form with centered explosion towards the target...good example for complete leg drive and follow through!
