Missouri survives a scare from Baylor, escaping with a 31-28 victory and improving to 7-2 on the season. The Big XII North leaders still control their own destiny for a return trip to the Conference Championship Game, so survive and advance is all that is necessary.

You never know, it's nice to see teams like Baylor rise up in the ranks. Gives you something different than "Texas, Texas, Texas, USC, Florida, Ohio State..."

Not a fan of either, but I think Baylor's diehards (wherever they are) are going to have a lot to be proud of in future years. They're 4-7, but pretty much every one of those losses have come to good teams. Briles is building a good team in Waco....

This was quite the scare... it was an exciting game, and it definitely should not have been. But I heard that the Baylor fans stood up and gave their team a big round of applause even though they lost, which I think is good sportsmanship. I like to hear that, and I'm not even a Baylor fan.
