Absolutely wonderful score, and the best Zorro of them all. Tyrone Power at his absolute best. I have a CD that has some of the background and additional scores, Alfred Newman's score is thrilling, romantic and just perfect.

Yes it would be hard to better Tyrone Power's dashing, charming Zorro or his meak, humourous act as the spoilt aristocrat. Great fun and made with a lot of flair and skill. I would have liked Rathbone's part to be bigger though. Great swordfight and Linda Darnell was lovely.

I enjoyed this ZORRO a lot more than the WACK re-make with A. Banderas. This one was more entertainig.

This is by far the best "Zorro" movie ever made. Dashing Tyrone Power is superb as Don Diego de la Vega and the definitive "Zorro". His outstanding performance surpassed that of Douglas Fairbanks Sr. in 1920, who was great nonetheless, and (no offence ... Mr.Banderas) Tyrone Power is still unmatched.

THE best Zorro movie of all time. Tyrone Power would have made mincemeat of both Fairbanks & Banderras I'm going to check now on whether it's on DVD or not as you've really whet my appetite to see this again.
