Dmitri Alexeev (piano), Julian Rachlin (violin), Yuri Bashmet (viola), Mstislav Rostropovich (cello), Paul Meyer (clarinet), Radovan Vlatkovic (horn).

  • Penderecki has been chosen to compose music for the opening of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. I hope it doesn't scare the hell out of the audience !!! I love Penderecki's works and I know that he will compose something dramatic for the Olympic games.

  • Rostropovich: "Хороший composer" LOL... The video is worth it just to hear Ростропосич и говорить и играть на виолончели... спасибо. (А мне нравится музыка Пендерецкого.)
