If silver is in a bubble, how is it that so few people know anything about it?

@QualitySilverBullion You're wetting my appetite, once a nondescript spy camera with quality audio enters the equation, I'm game.

Wonderful video, Take it to a store & see which clerk will accept it for it's silver content vs face value as in the case of silver change too .
But otherwise easy pickings at 4:11 lol...

@Begbucks That would definitely make for an interesting video. There was some one that was arrested for trying to spend NORFED Dollars. NORFED was a company that sold silver certificates for silver holdings as well as silver rounds and advertised them as currency. I think the story goes that a police detective overheard the conversation and arrested the person for using counterfeit money. NORFED has since been shut down by the fed.
Just a useless piece of trivia. Thanks for the comment!

Thank you for your reply to my question. I have another one:
If something is a replica and says replica or is a copy and says copy, would that be worth my time even though it does say .999 fine silver or 1 troy ounce file silver?

@warmachine2012 To comply with the US Hobbies act against counterfitting when making an exact copy of a US coin, the word "Copy" or "Replica" need to be stamped on the medallion. Or the size of the replicated piece can be increased or decreased so that it is obvious that it is not legal tender.
If you see those words on a silver piece it is likely that it's an exactly replica of a US coin. If it's not a replica of a US coin then I would do some extensive research on that piece before buying.

Thank you for your reply.
Another question: where is the best place to buy .999 silver? Ebay? Coin Dealer? or the Mint itself?
warmachine2012 1 year ago
@warmachine2012 Wherever you can get the BEST product for the BEST price. This is the time for you to do some shopping and research on silver products and silver suppliers. Find for yourself what you feel the best about.
Sorry for the generic answer...
