Brad Dies 10/27/09-As The World Turns

Katie learns she is too late to finally show Brad the child they have been longing for,after he flatlines and dies before she has the chance to show him their son.

If Terri doesn't win an emmy next year,I will strangle someone! This is still the MOST unnecessary and POINTLESS death! They NEVER should have gone here.

Ok..I havent been watching for a while and just tuned in so dont know what's going on but can someone please tell me why Brad died? Was he sick...and why did he die while Katie was giving birth? Was there a car accident?? Please anyone tell me...

Brad was shot,by Jack.Katie was kidnapped by Ralph Manzo,who is in the mob,and Henry got mixed up with Ralph and owed him money & since he wasn't delivering,Henry was about to be kaput,so Katie tries to threaten Ralph by saying her sister is the chief of police,so that pissed him off & he took her hostage.She gave birth & Brad finally found them,but Jack and Ralph arrived & Ralph shot at Jack,so when Jack shot back,nobody knew that Brad was in the warehouse.

I agree! This should NOT have happeneed. They fall in love after Katie hating him for so long, they get married, and then have a MIRACLE baby....then they just decide to kill him!?!?! It just makes everything seem pointless! >:'(

I am pissed that they killed Brad off. I loved him & Katie. As The World Turns has been 1 of my most fav soap for years along with Guiding Light and Y & R. The soaps suck now. Guiding Light is gone and Victor Newman is quitting Y & R.

This seemed brutal and pointless to kill Brad off at that moment, but I always thought the guy was a horrible actor so it was no great loss for me. He looked like he was just reading the lines off a paper, not believable.
