As I understand, the Bismarck had radar guided guns & anti-aircraft, the Hood did not and quickly sank. Later, Britians aircraft carrier w/antiquated torpedo bomber biplanes launched against Bismarck, and the Bismarcks radar guided anti-aircraft guns were not designed to work against such antiquated slow planes and they overcompensated... being useless. Bismarck took a torpedo to the rudder, and was stuck going in loops until Britain's fleet caught it and slammed it, Bismarcks crew scuttled it.

@ZenPhilosopher123 HMS hood didn't make it at all. 6 days after (check me on that im not sure) the carrier HMS Crown Royal and the cruiser HMS Dorsetshire sunk the Bismarck. HMS Prince of Wales also fought alongside HMS Hood. but she made it.
