  • Dr.zardkloff, can you explain to me,i have 10 tons tran a/c packing unit, and it has one condenser ,one evaporator but it has two compressor,so my question is condenser and evaporator divide in two for each compressor?or it' all together, tube run around all together as regular condenser?please help me out, thank you ,i am leaning...

  • @avon504 What you have is a two stage unit. If both of the compressors are in tandem, they share the same refrigeration circuit. If they do not connect in tandem then they both have separate refrigeration circuits. It may look like you have only one evaporator and one condensor but you might have two circuits.

  • sup z. everytime i turn my heat pump hot/cold it humms at the contactor. no fan or compressor sound. but the contactor is switching in and staying in when energized. any thoughts on this? also i noticed there is a capicitor (not swelled) and a hard start hooked up to this.

  • @Drew927 You could try replacing the contactor if you don't have a multimeter to test it first.

  • Hi Dr

We like your videos very much, we appreciate the info, you are very good. Would you know of an HVAC Commercial estimating classes in or near Los Angeles Ca and do you have any recommendation for a good HVAC software for estimating? Thank you so much Kreimer A/C

  • that is the most confusing video you could ever post to teach anyone about the way a control system works. It all starts with the hot side of the transformer RED. Remove the thermostat from the wall and jump red to the green (fan) and yellow (contacor), That outdoor is coming on in heat mode. Now jump the red to the yellow, green orange and it will come on in a/c mode. Simple.

  • @AJHAY041890 Fasten the TXV bulb at 4 o'clock if it's attached to a horizontal suction line. Then adjust the valve so that you're getting about 12 to 15 degrees superheat. Typically, the OEM TXV will come from the factory pre-adjusted to the correct setting unless you're using an aftermarket TXV.

Then tweak in the charge by subcooling.

  • @DrZarkloff good day dr. Z im here again..1 ask 1 question do you know what is the right setting for thermostatic expansion valve brand danfoss?because we have 1 unit of carrier 7.5 tr that is abnormal the cooling after we reprocess the unit because we adjust the TXV when we are flushing the evaporator with dry nitrogen and 141 b ,can you help me to solve this type of trouble and give me some idea about this dr.Z??

  • @AJHAY041890 You'll need to release the nitrogen charge before you can safely braze.

  • @DrZarkloff

gud day dr.Z,may i know if it is not dangerous to brazed a copper tube and then there is a charged of dry nitrogen?
