'Why can't I be with him', Roxas thought. He was always told love was about caring for someone, not being afraid to do anything for that person, but it looked like not everyone thought the same way.
Still, he didn't care... The man his dad despised was outside waiting for him, so he went to meet him... they would run away, run away from the hatred and the shame.
But, it still hurt so much, his own family rejecting him. He cried like he had never before, in that long and painful trip to an uncertain destination. Axel watched him, his heart ached from seeing his lover's tears running down his face. Why did it had to be so hard... So difficult...
Cloud found Roxas phone lost in his room and the message showing on the screen was clear, his son had escaped without a word, he couldn't believe it and the rage started to fill his mind... He wouldn't let this happen.
Aerith, Roxas mother, tried to stop him.

"Cloud, what are you going to do?"

"Getting Roxas back... He has no right to take our son away from us."

"Please Cloud, stop this, you're not in yourself"

"No!"

Aerith couldn't do anything, she just watched Cloud exiting the house and disappearing in a flash. All she could do was pray, pray that Cloud wouldn't make any mistake to later regret.
Cloud drove his motorcycle as fast as he could, having no other objective then fiding his son and making sure he would never see that man again. The rage was consuming him...
After some time, Cloud finally found them in the forest, where they had stopped for a while. Axel faced Cloud, ready to defend Roxas and not let his father take him from him. Cloud took his sword wanting to fight Axel, Axel did the same and took out his chakrams... And they started fighting, while all Roxas could do was watch in horror.
But soon Axel was hurt by a Cloud consumed by anger, Axel fought him but he really didn't want to hurt Cloud, because he was Roxas dad after all, but that didn't stop Cloud.
Still, Axel stood and fought him once more. Roxas couldn't take it anymore, screaming and begging for them to stop, but it was no use. Cloud hurt Axel once again, this time badly, and he lay on the floor in pain.
This was Cloud's chance, he made one last attack towards Axel, or so he thought. Roxas stood in front of Axel, protecting him from the shot... And giving his life to save Axel's.
