ANOTHER WORLD: Frankie Dies (Stalker Storyline) Pt. 5

The firing of AW alumni Alice Barrett was a sad and devastating blow to the fans of "Another World" for it set in motion the decision to kill off the character that she had portrayed for seven years: the beloved Frankie Frame.

Though brilliantly performed, the storyline is infamous for the controversy it sparked among the show's fans and the soap's executives as well as for the grisly violent way in which the character was murdered. The show never recovered from the loss of Frankie who, in many ways, represented the heart of the show.

In Part 5, Cass continues to wait word about Frankie when Felicia brings Charlie back home. Both are heartbroken as to what to tell Charlie when she asks for her mother.

Gabe McNamara is pressured by both Jake and the Commissioner to make an arrest soon in the stalker case.

Matthew and Rachel come upon Frankie's car and contact the police. The car is cordoned off where they find that the car has been tampered with. Also Frankie's high heels and gun are found.

Josie discerns that Gabe and Gary, who both suggest that she leave to be with her family, fear the worst about Frankie.
