thanks for uploading this. my ex was a heroin addict for 23 years. when i first met him i had no idea, i was a student nurse! then his behaviour changed and he eventually admitted he was on gear. i, with my nurses caring head on, thought i could help him... no chance. in the end we split. and he is now 10 years clean and we are still friends. but he now has found out he has hep C. it is a shit drug. takes all the good out of a person and leaves them with the bad bits.

@cockywatchman, agreed! I am not proud of it but have been an addict for 27 years. I am clean, healthy, do not steal hold down a good job, work very hard, have my own house nearly paid for and am an excellent dad.This guy on the video certainly gives addicts a bad name. graham(currently detoxing)

@MrRoyalnash That's fuck all. £50 a day is £15k a year-plus binges. Lets say £18k a year. 5 years thats £90k-what 120k dollars, and thats a small habit.

And i can skip it if i need to, Wont feel anything unconfortable untill perhaps on day 2 or 3. I just feel its wrong to dehumanize addicts because of their problem. First we say addiction is a disease and then we bash them for being sick? Not everyone wants to stop using and that is a part of the disease. My 2 cents? Switzerland has got it right with the heroin maintainance programs there... If someone wants to be fucked on smack 24/7 it should be his basic human right to be able to...
