  • the biggest problem, in my opinion, is that people like Randi are needed. If it wasnt for them, people would believe geller. Seriosuly, get real.

  • On summing up from this case, I can confirm that Uri Geller is without a doubt a fuckin massive CUNT !

  • "I am doing it with my mind" then why do you need to touch it at all you prick?

  • @hokieneer17 Indeed. I am personally a big fan of magic, but I find it disgusting when people like Geller take advantage of people and earn big money by claiming to be "the real thing" while performing tricks that anyone interested in the methods of magic will see right through.

  • I have no problems with magicians or illusionists, in fact I love a good magic show. But it's suppose to be for entertainment, and audience knows they are being tricked and are fine with it. Geller takes it a step further by claiming he has "powers" and deceives people far beyond the realm of entertainment. He's a simple parlor magician

  • stupid Geller you make me puke.

  • @searchaltoken well its old,the dude practically invented the trick, or atleast took it to the stage. He was a big thing back in the 70s, the audience and TV stations loved him. Great showmanship, I mean the layers upon layers of bullshit this guy can straight-face anytime anywhere. The fact that it took a Randi to put the nail in his coffin says a lot, + I do believe 98% of the public att thought he was a cheat too. But those were the 70s and people were more open to alternative theoriesnstuff.

  • the saddest thing is that people actually thought it was real magic... people are dumb as shit

  • Where in the world is a bending a spoon trick applause worthy for candid strangers?

  • @superfinster So true. The trouble is people don't like hearing the truth nowadays. People like Randi and Derren Brown are very much needed to debunk psychics and mediums and even the idea of an afterlife, but people love to hang onto their stretched hopes and beliefs.

  • If people who can do this were real they would be taken by the military/secret intel services so fast even their own telepathy wouldnt pick it up.

  • @legalsilk Because ratcheting the opposite direction is more difficult. :P
