Aggressive interior attack stops blazes from spreading in Burrillville, RI

Around 5:30pm on Tues Jan 5, 09 All Burrillville stations were called to 176 Main St in the Harrisville section for a structure fire. Heavy smoke was showing and with reports of people trapped, a 2nd then a quick 3rd alarm were sounded. Fire was found in the basement extending to floor#1.

With an aggressive interior attack, the fire was stopped in the 1st floor and was brought under control in about 1 hour.

All occupants made it out safely. Unknown if there were any injuries.
