hey, thanks for the feedback! the pickup is a shadow, however it's not my fav. the amp i use is an AER acoustic guitar amp put through a VOX tonelab. the arabic sound also requires u to play slighty out of tune, as they tend to use quarter tones.

Hey man!!! I'm a violinist, I really like youre style!!! I'm a beginner improvisating, and with rocking the violin xD. I would like to ask you a couple questions, what method of amplification do you use, it seems that is youre shoulder rest? and the other questions is how do you record the base for the later improvisations, like you showed in the video?

@prezeus the pick up is gaffed to the otherside of the instrument and the guitar lead is wrapped round the shoulder rest. the pick up is called a shadow, u can get 'em from most string shops

ok just a question... look I have an electric violin and wow I love your vids but please can you explain how you do those repetitions auto loop is it plugged to your computer? using which program? what do I need? please help

@DavidTorrez akai headrush, they cost a few hundred bucks, but u can loop up to 15 seconds of infinite loops or one big loop for 30 seconds

WOW! first off I would like to say that you are awesome! and that you inspired me to turn my viola electric! and I have a few questions how did you get that Arabic sound? I already have the golden gate pick but I'm not seeing much of a difference. I have a fender G-DEC junior and just one more question what kind of pickup are using and how are you getting it to stay up?
