Islamic Relief- 25 Year Anniversary

Islamic Relief has come a long way since it received its first donation of 20p back in 1984. Only a year later we had raised ₤100 000 and today Islamic Relief raises £90 million a year. In addition to this, our child sponsorship programme has grown considerably over the years. In 1989 Islamic Relief was sponsoring 60 orphans in Kenya. Today this number has risen to 27 000 children worldwide. With 360 development projects running in 35 countries the number of our beneficiaries has surpassed 2 million. Over time Islamic Reliefs resources have grown to provide aid to millions of people affected by humanitarian crises around the globe.

I have and will continue to support such a cause; not only is it helping millions around the world, but in doing so it will hopefully better the image of Muslims worldwide in the process. I'm honored to have given money to Islamic Relief and I'm really glad this video is here to show the advances Islamic Relief brings to Muslims and non-Muslims alike.
