@Sckye I dunno, I think that's fairly typical of ALL apartments, isn't it? Most of the apartments I've lived in here in Canada have at least a view of the kitchen from the front door (or kitchen is right off the main hall) and same with the bathroom.

@MaTaRu39 This is a response to your old question, if not already answered and for those that don't know either. Japan has no tolerence for any form of narcotics. So for a foreigner to come to Japan with narcotics or buy narcotics in Japan will be immediately departed and will not be allowed to come back to Japan.

I've notice when it comes to an appartment or house layout the first thing you see when you walk in after taking off your shoes is the bathroom and kitchen. Why is that I wonder? Is Japan very open about showing their personal hygiene?

Very large apartment. Actually a little larger than I'd care for (I kinda liked your old apartment). I couldn't live in a tall building like that though.

omg, i thought you were going to say.. "A Rabbit..my dad killed." :( LOVE the apartment!!

Definitely better than your other apartment. This is a bit more money, it seems, but there's a ton more space.
And the view is pretty--all those different neon lights.

this is a really nice apartment
basically 1 yen is the same as 1 penny (at today's exchange rate) so 100 yen equals 1 dollar...we're paying close to 200,000 yen/month right now...totally worth it though; this place is great
