http://www.taijiworld.com Yang Lu-ch'an founded small fomrs out of each of the main self defence postures from his H'ao Ch'uan form (later known as Tai Chi ch'uan). These forms take each of the main postures and teach one how to use them in a realistic self defence way. No. really low stances, no attacks from a long distance, no sitting duck methods. Each posture has many self defence applications apart from their basic application from each posture. These brief forms teach you how to attack instantly and use offensive/defencive methods creating the maximum power using your own body size and shape. Dim-Mak points are struck and sub-conscious reactions are learnt using these methods.
