  • Amazing voice!

  • I hope some day PALESTINIANS will sing that song and israelis will clap! And Israel will be a secular state not jewish state, and Palestin also secular not muslim state.

  • It's so funny that I take it for granted that I know exactly what she is singing, while probably most of the viewers.....don't.. lol

Anyway..She was a great singer! too bad she had gone to fast..:(

  • @fucku2685 Of course the Germans in the audience understood and spoke

Hebrew fluently,so they really knew it was a "smiling fuck you" to them ....

and they then liked it so much that they applauded enthusiastically.

You really have a deep knowledge of the world, history and mentalities that you understood all of this !

  • Der groster teil der Deutschen sind wieder geworden Nazis. Die halten mit die Araber.

    Wir brauchen sie toten.

    Mehr Feind Mehr Ehr!

  • @DM5ive9: But even so, the Germans of 1983 weren't the same people as the Germans of 1938. Germany had already at this point spent thirtyeight years feeling guilty for what happened during the Nazi era, and anyone younger than that wasn't even born before it ended. So I really hope Israel didn't intend this entry to be a "smiling 'fuck you'" to the host country, where most people in 1983 would have been totally innocent of any crime against Jews.

  • @fucku2685 If you think the all germans were/are nazi's, than remenber that thousands of germans also did died in kz, and thousands of them did help and protected some other people (we are all homo sapiens sapiens).Greetings

  • The best part of this song is that it's really just a smiling "fuck you" to Germany! :) I would have loved to have seen the faces of the Germans in the audience.

  • she sounds like she's on playback. thats how good her voice is. wowww. great song!

  • Gilad Shalit is Free!!!

    Am israel Chay!! :)

  • backup singers are moussad.

  • @DM5ive9

i think what i was trying to say is not clear here. anyways. lets close this topic. because i dont wanna be seem like a enemy . i really like israel. and more i love ofra haza and her songs.

  • georgous ofra love you forever

  • @Valtteri2: Indeed, while "Si la vie est cadeau" might have been a good song, if it had been sung by another singer, Corrinne Hermés wasn't the right one to carry it. She both sounded and looked strained. Ofra Haza was both more talented and (sorry for sounding shallow here, but it's true) more beautiful. I don't understand how Luxembourg beat Israel that year, even though it only was by six points.

  • @Furienna thank you, This is the song from 1983 that's always been my number one(since i became a eurovision fan eight years ago) and I can see that so many others feel that way too. And I think Ofra's voice is really beautiful, whereas Corinne's voice is a bit "harsh", sounds like she's shouting =)it's a nice song too, but Israel's song is magical :)
