Goosebumps all over while watching this. One of the most intense scenes in the entire series. One can't deny the powerful connection these two have always had since childhood, which the true definition of soulmates. They have led parallel lives: drug addictions, sisters from each of their dad's affairs, parental issues, friendship issues, etc. They are mirror images of each other. Kelly cleaned up her act before Dylan, which is why this relationship would have worked out later on.
