New England's coolest, wettest Spring has postponed our transition to fishing season, but despite cold water in the salt ponds along RI's south shore, the cinder worms are making an appearance. They are in fact appearing in amazing numbers, attracting large numbers of striped bass. It is very challenging fishing for selectively active fish.
