I wonder why many of the most beautiful waltzs in the world are written by Russian composers such as Sviridov, Shostakovich and Tchaikovsky.

They aren't in the same order as they are in the movie he composed them for. I have piano trascriptions of the songs and play them in a different order than they are in this playlist.

Amazing. Great on its own, yet it really is an "echo of Waltz" (part 2 of Snowstorm). I guess this is why musical poems should be listened to in order :-). Did he actually compose it in this order? Like, finish one part and then start another?
