  • @immenseejp1 because they are russians! that explains everything...

  • I wonder why many of the most beautiful waltzs in the world are written by Russian composers such as Sviridov, Shostakovich and Tchaikovsky.

  • quelle merveille ! merci

  • beauteous!!!!!!!!! There is a very good piano transcription for this, by Russian pianist Sergey Kursanov.......

  • I stand corrected. But the Waltz does preceed the Echo, doesn't it?

  • They aren't in the same order as they are in the movie he composed them for. I have piano trascriptions of the songs and play them in a different order than they are in this playlist.

  • Almost sad. But I like it.

  • Amazing. Great on its own, yet it really is an "echo of Waltz" (part 2 of Snowstorm). I guess this is why musical poems should be listened to in order :-). Did he actually compose it in this order? Like, finish one part and then start another?

Thank you for uploading. Must have taken some effort. Do you have more Sviridov?

  • my all times nr1 is Waltz 2 by Shostakovich, nr2 Mauriat - Alouette, nr3 is Southside spinners - Luvstruck, nr4 Evgen Doga waltz, nr5 Sviridov - echo of waltz, nr6 Mauriat -Love is blue, nr7 Mozart - 40 symphony, nr8 Sviridov - waltz, nr9 Vangelis - Eternity, nr10 Chaikovski - waltz of flowers, nr11 Mike Oldfield - Let There Be Light, nr12 Nino Rota - Godfather, nr13 Last - The lonely shephard

  • the best of his, even better than Motzart's symphony no40
