  • @assman12354 no, L-39s wing structure will fail. But there are rumors, that L-159 can do it.

  • please don't answer if you don't actually know-----------is it possible to break the sound barrier in a l-39 if you decend from highest altitude going full throttle? (ps, i know you can't do it in the usa due to FAA regulations)

  • @trigr100 :Ah, thanks! The L-159 has a silhouette that's quite similar to the L-39, actually.

  • @barkon L-39 is designed for advanced training. Then the pilots continue to L-159.

  • Do the Czechs fly the Albatros as an advanced trainer, light attack or both?

    I'm actually building the Eduard 1/72 right now.
