I worked for a public radio station in the 80s and we couldn't play rock music, so we always stole the rock records that came in. I snagged this one because they looked cool. Little did I know it was one of the best power pop albums of all time. It changed my perspective on "pop" songwriting. Never expected a Plimsouls tour years later either. Peter Case rocks!
