Before a living cell formed there were many steps of chemical reactions among molecules forming a cycle of reactions, a proto-metabolism. These cyclical reactions have been observed in Nature, in them some molecules react in the presence of heat or another stirring and then a cycle of reactions start ending at the last step with the same components that started the process. These processes can become more and more complex, and longer and longer.

No, it is not in my dreams, there are several science publications establishing the proto-metabolic process conjecture as the starting point of life. But, anyway, in May 2010 the 1st living cell built from scratch non living material was formed. You can still claim that the structure of life was copied and that required humans to do the trick, but little by little Science is getting ahead and ahead.If God worried (absurdly) about the Babel Tower, this is like 100 Babels and growing.

When Bible said that "God hangs the earth in nothingness" .. scientists went mad. they said "how can it be nothing??" surely there is some matter , and they even named it as Ether.... finally it was all proved to be wrong. When Bible said , the stars were uncountable... again scientists went mad... they started using supercomputers and hubble telescope.. only to discover again that Bible is right. So, you keep on believing them, i'll keep on believing Bible

Cyclical reactions happened in Nature. And real scientists think they are the basis for a metabolism. The sequence of reactions ends up where it started, in fact copying itself, while byproducts are excreted during the process. It requires a lot random trial and error, but if byproducts become exactly like the original components, and immediately start a cycle of their own, then: reproduction has happened. Still unknowns to discover, but a right track clue has been found.
