Osoyoos is the hottest place in British Columbia. Our air conditioning is broken, so we only stopped for gas and a little rest in an air-conditioned gelato parlor, none of which you will see here.
While descending from the desert plateau into the heat of the valley despite the river, I asked Cindy to point the camera out...
This is the last video from that week on the mainland in early August.

  • I'm from Vancouver and am in osoyoos right now. Staying at the Spanish Fiesta (dirty Nasty motel) this place is cool to visit for a couple of days and bang some broads but the locals are weirdos. If I had to live here and work at that fucn DQ I'd probably blow my brains out while serving ice cream. This town has nothing to do except sit at the beach and drink all day. In the middle of buttfuc nowhere you feel depressed.

  • You spent more time there than I did...

  • @fehquig

i drugged my friend with mdma the first night then got super drunk and bucked fatty lines while some idiot tried to steal a pinball machine the 2nd night. got super hammed the 3rd night and saw some guy running up the street towards 711 throwing bottles and rocks all over the place. the 4th night i got super drunk and puked the 5th night i did shrooms and was in a total mind fuck. seriously my brain was trapped in a box for at least 4 hours.

  • I'm glad I only stopped for ice cream...

  • This is considered the warmest spot in Canada? Wow ! It's very very high partial semi-arid terrain. I wouldn't consider it an actual desert. I'm from Southern California and we have real deserts. Filled with cactus, sand dunes, temps of 115 degrees everyday in summer, no snow and 5 days of rain a year :)

  • It's quite tolerable on the plateaux on either side of that deep valley that Osoyoos is situated in, but it gets freaking hot in town. It's not as hot as Needles, but for Canada it's hotter than anywhere else on average...
