Rapid eye movement and twitching

Charlie was playing a game and started blinking and twitching.
The neurologist seems to feel that this is a tic. He has done it before but this time it was much more severe.

Our Grandson is doing the same thing he is 6 years old.

He tics more when he watches tv or video games.

My daugter made an appointment with specialist.

Can You give an update?

@timestandingstill The doctor says it was just a tic. My oldest son has it as well but it doesn't matter if he is playing games or watching TV. If it happens more during these activities I would ask for a video EEG with stimulation.

Hello, I realize that the last post on this video was three months ago, but I though to see how your son is doing. My daughter, who is 2 1/2, has very similar symptoms. (she doesn't watch any TV).  Otherwise, she's a very healthy & happy little girl. I hope you find what's going on. BTW, your so is adorable.

@sagestradivarius He is doing well, He still has the twitching and some of it is just a tic of his. He really cant stay still, but they are testing and watching for seizures

looks like an optical seizure. the fcc does not allow new computer screens to have a refresh rate of 60 hz or less because they cause seizures. i'm not sure what kind of screen he is looking at but if it is older, you might want to try something else. lack of sleep makes this problem worse in some people. i'm not a dr, but you can google it and check out the fcc website.

HI, I HAVE A SON THAT WAS DIAGNOSED WITH TOURETTES SYNDROME 18 YRS AGO AND STARTED WITH THE SAME SYMPTOMS YOUR SON HAS BUT HIS ESCALATED TO INVOLUNTARY ARM,SHOULDER MOVEMENTS. I NOTICED THE SYMPTOMS AS EARLY AS 2 YRS OF AGE. WITH PROPER TREATMENT AND A DIAGNOSIS THEY WILL BE ABLE TO CONTROL THE SYMPTOMS THAT BOTHER HIM.IN SOME CASES LIKE MY SON CASE STARTED WITH THE EYES AND FACIAL TICS THEN SEEMED TO GET WORSE WITH TIME. BUT HE IS WELL UNDER CONTROL RIGHT NOW.

@psychoparent79 .I was just just wondering if he was ever tested for strep?My son had 2 eegs and mri and they diagnosed him with a tic disorder. a different dr said adhd.i insisted on him being tested for strep because of what i read online and it was that all along.It took 2 years and me insisting on him getting tested for strep.The drs. know about it but none of them tested for it on their own.Once he took antibitics for 20 days his tics were gone!

@wengweng.Strep is a bacterial infection.My son was diagnosed with PANDAS disorder.when he gets strep he doesnt get a fever or a sore throat he gets tics and one is the eye movement and twitching.They can do a blood test or throat culture to check for strep.His dr. gives him the antibiotic duricief for 20 days and when the strep is gone the blinking stops.The tv show the DOCTORS is suppose to talk about this disorder on Tuesday, Nov.1. in New York its at 9:00 am channel 2.

@jadensienna ..i also suffered for this rapid eye movement since elementary and im 28yrs old now.and too hard tohave this coz some people they think im whinking them or some friend make fun on me..pls tell me what is STREP?and what kind of antibiotics he used?pls help me..
