Piracy has been a violation of "jus cogens" for 1,000 years. Any flagged warship of any nation-state has the authority to intercept pirates on the "High Seas" and deal with them any way it sees fit. They should be hanged from the yardarms and then their corpses fed to the sharks.
This ended the "Golden Age" of piracy 400 years ago and should be reinstated by all nations. Russia already seems to be doing this with pirates, although it makes up comical stories about their deaths as cover.

@1989Taipei That's because the British equivalent to the SEALs is the SBS, not the SAS. The SBS emphasize amphibious operations more than the SAS.
