Hailo is a new app that allows Londoners to hail a cab with just two taps of their smartphone and pay automatically with a credit card or debit card (or cash) with no charges above the meter.
Hailo cabs will even wait five minutes on arrival before turning on the meter.

When you use Hailo;
*You see a real-time ETA and the location of the closest cabbies
*You view and connect with the cabbie around the corner with two taps on your smartphone
*Once you book, you see a picture of your driver, his vehicle registration, his real-time countdown of the approximate time he will arrive, and his contact details
*You pay automatically with your credit or debit card (or cash) with no charges above the meter and no hidden fees.
*You get a notification when the driver arrives and an instant email receipt
Hailo is taxi heaven for passengers:

Could you please make it available in other iTunes AppStores outside the UK? It's not available in the Swiss store. There are also tourists visiting London, you know... ;)

Hi Parabelll...In order to prevent false bookings and disappointment we're not in non-UK app stores, so your best option when arriving in London is to find some free wifi at the airport and download us from the UK store from there. We'll be in many more countries and cities soon, so watch this space!
