Well eventually she did agree with DiFi...in a video in March/2010, she stated at a conference she would vote yes for a public option.

One thousand dollars for a machine to read your blood at Quest Diagnostics.
Two thousand dollars for a cortizon shot if your knees are weak per knee. Surgery???
MRI one thousand per picture.
Anyone taking prilosec at 30,000 per cent mark up?

"Gov't health care rational is going to kill us all"
Except that it is not government healthcare rationing, it is simply a public option for HEALTH INSURANCE.
It has nothing to do with hospital administration, and certainly nothing to do with "rationing"!

"Those truly in need always get enough"
No they don't.
When you are classified by the insurance industry as "uninsurable", you have no freedom. If you get sick, you are screwed. Now that's what I call a real "death panel".
At the very least, some form of public option needs to exist.

By the way, US was ranked 37 of 190 (top 1/5th)....and that is compared to countries with pure socialist systems....plus we treat anyone that walks through an emergency room door (including 20 million illegals)...think about it, top 20% does that sound like something that is completely broken? The system could use many improvements, we could start with medicaid fraud which exceeds 30%...

You need to get your facts straight; the low rankings on the study that you mention refer to cost, and administration, which are areas where the gov't is already involved. In the area of quality, availability, and time for treatment the US was at the top of the list; you should know/tell the whole story...don't be a fool....

I certainly agree that a more efficient government is the panacea. But companies would not have to pay more for insurance if the profit motive were removed from the insurance industry. If big insurance and big pharma can afford to pay $1 million per day to sink a public option, they must be ripping off their customers pretty handily. Think about all of those years you may have paid for premiums...only to go year after year without filing a claim. Where do you think all that money goes?

I did not support and do not support corporate welfare either. And in reality, if big companies pay more...how do they pay for it? Cut jobs, raise prices, move overseas. How about a more efficient gov't, slimmed down and lean?Any ideas from MSNBC, Huffington Post, Daily KOs or from the communist manifesto?

I know we would. People like you -- who are too afraid of seeing this become a reality -- are filled with delusions created by the very industries that a public option will demolish.
How about dependent companies, sucking off the tit of the individual tax payer? You think we individuals should suffer because big companies may have to pay more? Quit watching Faux News and learn the reality of the situation.

If you are on welfare, food stamps, are you not a slave to someone else, to the system. Every time "repukkkes" have had the power did they take all that away from your hand out, dependent self. Try being truly free and independent. That is what this country was founded on...not handouts and whoa is me. Those truly in need always get enough. Those who abuse the system should get kicked to the curb.
They aren't really "pro-life" since the vast majority of them support the death penalty and foreign wars. They are just anti-choice.
