I like shiny things.. That's what really got me involved with 3D stuff in the first place..
I'd just try to find your own edge on things and just find a project, like an animation project or a architectural project or something fun, to go for.. It seems you have a knack for making interesting images.
Though you could use more textures on objects, I enjoy the simplicity of the untextured objects like the one you ended on..

errr... thats was pretty cool most of them were awesome the water especially (except the first 2) and the reflections, but from like 1min 40 it was just the song and the one picture... not srue about that lol

Beautiful stuff.
Your texturing and reflections are great. And I loved the one with the sky. Very cool. You may want to view your videos before uploading them though. Over half of this was of the last image. Focus on your art, not the music. Looking foward to more.
