After the infamous Kelo v. City of New London, where private property (her home) was taken for economic development, Alabama passed legislation that was suppose to prevent this heinous governmental action. The news provided a nationwide platform where the governor and state officials patted each other on the back and boldly stated "this will not happen in Alabama -- we have closed this loop hole".
For private property owners in Alabama, this is not a racial issue this is legalized thief under color of law. While this impacts the poor and minority community first it will over time affect everyone regardless of race or income.

Run down properties are lower in value for taxation by the city, so this many be the big reason behind these kinds of demotions. Citizens rise up against this tyranny. If community improvement is really the motive, then, at least, the gov't. should pay compensation for the property value, but even this is wrong.

This sort of thing is happening all over the place. It's a more subtle way of bringing in control of the people. The constitution allows eminent domain for public USE, not public GOOD. Since when is it ok for anyone, especially government, to take someone's property and give it to another private entity? Anyone who researches Agenda 21 will find the answers.

Hey Todd,
Your actions speak "volumes" about how an ignorant brown nosed reptilian gang member such as yourself will trample on the Constitutional rights of others just to promote yourself and your Elite NWO agenda.
