The G is a much smaller car.

The TL AWD only weighs 300-450 LBS More then the G37 RWD.

And the TL is much longer and has much more room inside.

The AWD G37 Weighs 100 LBS less then the auto TL SH AWD...

And if the SH was a manual, The TL would weigh a whole 75 LBS less...

In reality, The G37 Is a fat pig.

@wongmylesa Hell, the old 306 hp G35x(all wheel drive) from 2006(2007 model year) with a 5-speed automatic(5AT) can run 13 second 1/4 miles(Road and Track ran 13.8). The RL runs 15 second 1/4 miles ! Rule of thumb is every 100 lbs equals .1 through the 1/4 mile. The RL weighs about 300 lbs more(3700 vs 3995), so it should run low 14s. Why the hell does it run so fucking slow ? It's Honda Civic Si slow.

@wongmylesa You have sat in the new TL with the slammed roofline in back and the huge thick ass c-pillars ?? The G is a TALLER car, which could be a good thing or a bad thing. So that factor helps it have better outward visibility, make it roomier, and make it FEEL roomier. The G has some of the thinnest A, B, and C pillars in it's class.... which once again could be a good thing or a bad thing, though thicker pillars aren't always stiffer or stronger....

The G37 could be missing wheels,headlights, and the roof... And it would still get first or second place in a edmunds comparison.

WHAT I POSTED STANDS! The facts are on the web... And NOT ONCE had the G37 been larger on the inside than the TL... Keep in mind that reading dimensions don't add up to the actually integrated space within the vehicle. Ive sat inside of both... Trust me, large difference.

@wongmylesa G37 is the lightest rwd car in it's class besides the much smaller 3-series. Yet it also provides top interior room and outward visibility, while still being the 2nd fastest(335i). AWD only adds about 100 lbs on top of the normal G37s curb weight ! 3600 for rwd(3550 for manual rwd), 3700 for awd ! AWD TL weighs 3950 lbs. Manual TL weighs 3800 lbs. ! TL SH-AWD is the posterchild "fat pig" of it's class ! The G37 is ALOT faster too....

Acura and Honda are the same so I wouldnt be calling it a pos. Plus the Si is a sports car, the RL is lux.

I've loved the RL's ever since 05 they really turned up the heat with the model, I just really wish they were faster. Why did Acura put that bigger engine in there when all it does is eat up more gas? The TL is fast, way faster than the RL, idk, sigh lol
