As I write this, it appears Alonso will take his 3rd title.
What happened at Hockenhiem was poorly done, but it was the right decision.
Massa pretty much had no chance of winning the title, as he said, his season has been pretty poor.
Ferrari put all their eggs in one basket, and its clearly paid off, because Alonso is still very much in the title chase. And Ferrari have given themselves a chance at a championship which in reality, they and everyone else shouldnt have had a shout at.

@TheBbergner86 I've been watching F1 since 1998. You are very naive to think this doesnt happen almost every year. Will you complain if next week in Abu Dhabi, Vettel and Webber change position to win the WC for Mark? No, because this is F1. Winning is everything. Felipe has had a poor season and Ferrari made the right decision to back Alonso as he had the best chance of Winning the WC THIS year. Next year is a different matter.

@ferrarif1worldcom If the Red Bull team changes running orders it will be because the drivers switch, not the pit that switches them.
Ferrari has never been a honest team and will always skirt the rules because they feel entitled.

@TheBbergner86 It was only a problem this year because it was TOO obvious. Why would Vettel voluntarily gift Webber the lead. He wouldnt, the team would of asked him before hand that you will need to do that and is exactly the same thing as Felipe to get out of the way. This is for a World Championship. Team orders are part of Formula 1 whether we like it or not.

@ferrarif1worldcom Vettel will voluntarily give up the win because he wants a RB6 to win the WDC.
Vettel allready won the WCC for Red Bull Renault
