@Furicist well, I'm 11, and I want one imported over to the usa so I can have the only good ford there ever was. The only thing I would do is put those masks over the unneeded headlight parts and put a small spoiler and a small body kit on the side and rear.

heh heh, you are correct, and laugh if you like but i said all that deliberately ! ok so you know a bit , fair enough. i have been obsessed with bmw M cars for about 20 years from my first M3 and have had 3 since, anyway i still say the m's sound much better than this 4 pot ford, my old golf gti sounded alomost exactly the same which i thought was so so, now our game ends, have a nice day.

ps the main thing is the M1 sounds amazing it is inline 6 so is M3 .

@houdini69 lol , and you dared to mock my knowledge of cars, everybody and his son knows the M1 was a 3.5 not 3.0, and it didnt use carbs at all , it used fuel injection, plus the M3 had variable valve timing, apart from the fact they are L6 config and made by BMW they have hardly anything in common as they were made like 10 years apart, now this is the end of our discussion as clearly you dont know enough for me to learn anything from you, and just to reiterate the standard E46 M3 sounds crap

oh man ! i brought the m1 in to it because its the same effing engine as the e36 M3 with the same power output ie, 286 bhp only the M1 had carbs so thats what i was talking about !!!!

my M3 had no cats and modded intake and exhaust and had a sound to die for, the point im making is that the standard M3 sounds good but could sound so much better if it were not for legislation, here ends our discussion.

@houdini69 i know plenty about all kinds of cars, my old man has owned an E36 EVO and 2 E46 M3s, he also has had a couple of 330 ci's which sound better than the M3, when i said "the sixes" i was refering to M3s, because they have that horible metalic rasp you dont get on other BM sixes, why you brought the M1 into it when we were talking about M3s is beyond me, i merely said sixes to differentiate between those and the 4 and 8 cylinder M3s which sound lovely, and ye most of the csl is induction

better than a four pot, have you ever heard a racing M1 at full tilt ? obviously not.

my M3 sounded amazing and bye the way a standard csl sounds good only from the induction system, the standard exhaust is no big deal.

i cant blv you say that a standard 6 sounds crap, even my 528i un modded sounds good.
