Yknow, in the comics and movie, Dr. Manhattan was nude because he was supposed to be god like, like a greek statue. You arnt supposed to notice it and thats why it was completely downplayed. But EVERYWHERE people in their reviews etc are making some huge deal about the human form. Get over it. I wouldnt take my kids to see it for much different reasons.

Metaphor or not, Doc Manhattan wearing clothes would be pretty inconvenient what with the changing size all the time. Also I own that mop. It is a good mop.

The clothing was part of how human he felt. The more clothes on him, the human he thought he was. But the less clothes, the more he felt he was untouched by reality. Or something of this nature.
