This guy showed up while I was delivering to Chevy's in Auburn. I have been meaning to get a video of these guys in action, but never can. So, I took advantage of the time! These are the guys that collect all the used retaurant greases, oils, fats etc. for recycling. I'm not sure what make the trailer is, but I know that the tractor is a mid-90s 3-axle Freightliner Classic daycab.

  • Thanks for getting this! I know I had asked for it and I'm glad to finally see it in action! First time, and first one on Youtube I would say!

  • I would also say so myself, and thank you! It seemed like after I left here, he was following me! He showed up at 2 of my other stops right after this one lol.

  • That was awesome! I always wondered how these bins were collected! AWESOME find! like and fav!

  • we got them kinda trucks here i have seen them a few driving i will get 1 some day nice

  • a correction, i meant WaBo. they are made by Brown Industrial

  • That truck body looks almost like a LoBo Bulk Grease truck. There is a rendering plant a few blocks away from where i work and i see these all the time on my way to work

  • I don't know... I've been to a few NASCAR races here in Cali, and in the campgrounds on Sunday mornings, they can get pretty bad when they clean them, but not as bad as one of these on a hot daylol. I have to say this is one of the worst. Also when it's cold, it's kind of cool to see all the grease steam come out of the top lol.

  • I think that honor goes to the Porta Potty trucks myself, great vid Brad, always liked watching these trucks work.

  • I have no idea what make it is, and I can't even IMAGINE what it looks inside lol. The smell when the top is raised is one of the worst ever. I guess you should just peek into one of those bins, then multiply it by 1000! lol

  • Yeah. SRC is the biggest rendering company here in Northern California. They also have a sister company called Sacramento Pumping Company, which pumps out the underground grease traps from restaurants.
