The 3rd ranked Oregon Ducks defeat 13th ranked Utah in a hard fought game played in Portland on 4/7/07. Final score 16-7. Great goals, big hits and strange calls.

This Utah team was very young. The goalie was first year, just a brave kid who stepped up and did the best he could. It was enough to earn us a win over a Minn-Duluth Team who was ranked #8 at the time we beat them. The fact that Utah stuck with it and played hard all the way to the end despite the score speaks volumes about the program. Just a little note to all of you raggin on the Utes, the score doesn't tell the whole story.

I played for the Utes back in the late 90s early 2000. The D looked pretty small. Hopefully they have a few big buys to protect the crease even if it takes 3 or 4 steps to do so. Thanks for posting this clip...brought back fond memories
