Beautiful! So much passion in his playing! The video works so well with the song. Theres just something about his voice....painful to listen to at times...yes, but I enjoy listening to his later singing more because of the depth and heart-breaking expression he possesses. Its almost as if you can get a taste of his pain. His trumpet playing also greatly improved. The trumpet really sounded like it was an extension of him; warm with a mature sound. Thank You for posting this!! One of the best!!!

Mais c'est donc un enregistrement incroyable puisque Chet Baker est mort en mai 1988 - donc, cet enregistrement est un de ses derniers - et d'autant plus touchant, parce que face à la mort, Chet sait exprimer la solitude du petit enfant laissé seul par tout le monde. Face à la mort, on est seul aussi. Que c'est émouvant, que c'est touchant. Vive Chet, un enfant trop sensible et fragile que je vais toujours aimer juste pour cela! J#espère qu'on fera un jour la fête avec Lady Day au ciel
