The great Romanian soprano Roxana Briban singing: "Tu che le vanita" from Verdi's Don Carlo, recorded in the year 2000 when in fact she has had her absolute debut in this role.
This is another artistic moment in the memory of our beloved soprano, who tragically past away last year. She was one of the most beautiful soprano voices ever. Elisabetta was one of her favorite roles that suited her perfectly. Unfortunately she has been singing Don Carlo only at the beginning of her carrier, thereafter she did not have the chance to perform the role, as she always in fact desired. The rendition of the aria is simply stunning...and Roxana's singing is aristocratic.
May she rest in peace!!!
