No prob, billy, thanx for this great clip. Will just keeps a-goin,always working at getting better, and winning friends for the instrument as well. It's so cool for folks to see him in a jam group like this, holdin up fingers to tell the guitar players the chord changes, singing his verse and playin a solo, then handing it off to others. A true man of music. His work on Know You Rider,on the 1st Tuna album,is out there! Lucky to have a record of that show-Kitty's New Orleans House,Berkeley,9/69.

Definitely agree. Never be anybody like Jack, and the great thing is that his beefy style made drums unnecc.for the acoustic stuff. One early version of Tuna was w/Joey Covington on drums,so they were like a power trio, playin between sets at Airplane gigs. I think they met Will at some gig in San Rafael. He'd been with The Cleanliness & Godliness Skiffle Band,a Berkeley outfit I ended up gettin the harp spot with after he left. Talk about a hot seat to fill! But he put me at ease, very sweet man.

Yeah its will scarlet?
1st Hot Tuna Breaking Glass album. I loved Jorma & Jack. My whole bass playing style was from 2 Jacks & a Phil! But when I heard Will on that 1st album my jaw dropped. It was pure genius having him sit in.

The legendary Will Scarlett of Hot Tuna! Leading the group with his KILLER original jug band blues," I Believed You Then .." - believe he recorded this with the Oakland jamband Hobo Jungle.
