FeFe Dobson vs Kelly Clarkson - Stuttering vs Behind These Hazel Eyes

When I heard "Stuttering", I immediately thought the chorus sounded like "Behind These Hazel Eyes" (as did a lot of other people!). Then I started to realize it was more than just the chorus . . . and the songs are even in the same key!

For the record, I don't think FeFe Dobson "stole" this song. The resemblance was probably unintentional.

BTHE is mostly unedited. I slowed down Stuttering to match it and cut it up and moved it around, and tried to cut out a little bit of the drums. It would have been nice to have access to all the tracks so I could cut them out completely at points, but I think it turned out well if a little "busy". I used Adobe Audition 3 to edit the audio, Photoshop CS5 for the image, and Premiere CS5 to stick them in a video.

There are only so many chord progressions that you can put together, you are without a doubt guaranteed to get the same progressions over and over again.

So, don't judge. Because unless you understand the contruction of music, your argument is invalid.
