This is one of the few cooking shows on TV, and clearly the best one. There are too many "cooking entertainment" shows on TV, especially on the FoodNetwork. It would be wise for the FoodNetwork to remember what has happened to MTV, the once Music Television channel, that has lost much of its viewers to VH1.

This is a nice transition episode after Steve Rooney, who played the Mad French Chef in seasons 1-4 (done by Means St. Productions) was no longer part of Good Eats (since Alton and DeAnna Brown did GE via their in-house BeSquared Productions from season 5 onward.) Not quite death of Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men, but still good.

I don't see what's so hard about making crepes. It's a heck of a lot easier than slicing meat properly and you don't run the risk of cutting off your fingers.
