I think a disconnect in communication between atheists and theists occurs because theists try to use arguments that they themselves wouldn't be convinced of yet are surprised when we aren't convinced of them.
I would love to hear from a theist what they would say to someone of another faith to convince that person that one of the two gods is or is not real and how they would respond to the same comebacks that religious people give us when we challenge the existence of a particular god.
All video responses are very welcome.
(Something tells me this will be like my "Proof of Creationism" video where I asked for evidence FOR creation and not attempts to give evidence AGAINST evolution...I didn't get any.
the 'well, more people believe in it' clause is less valid than even I thought for a while
not even for the concept that just because more think it doesn't make it right or nothing ever came about just by wanting it
just look back to about 2500 years ago when there were NO christians - when it didn't even exist (I like it already). Just wake up and see that a god is only as eternal as the people who believe in him.

that's why the concept of hell was needed: fear. they needed to use the concept of suffering for eternity because people would not follow them otherwise because sins represent instinct and self-gratification; they are what bring us pleasure
seriously, pride is bad? wrath is bad? envy is bad? in fact, god represents a few of these so-called sins
he didn't warn them about the tree. he gave them a false warning. it made them self-aware, why didn't he say that?

@infernalone666 and you're very right, you dont get what you want by wishing for it. that is one thing people think about God. they act like "ask and you shall receive" means God is a genie

he doesn't want to?! that's kind of elitist. with the amount of people who don't believe and with the amount of actual believers who actually don't follow, i would say he has no problem with it
opposers to christianity think the concept of sin is actually a negative stigma on human nature and instinct and use that to destroy a person's ambition and spirit. some even think theologians deliberately did that because then humans would naturally sin

@countrymusicaddict24 compared to God's view on life, we have an ant's view. that's just the way it is.

@infernalone666 i never said he planned every single little thing out. he dont want to send us to hell, but in order to be just, despite being the most powerful, he made laws for himself to follow and well, every little sin is a big deal, but according to the laws, our free will doesnt exclude us sinning, and he has to follow his laws himself. and God warned them about that tree. they should've listened. and like i said before, we don't know everything

@infernalone666 well i'm not talking sex. what i mean is one has faith that even though he hasnt seen his wife be a faithful spouse, he has faith that she will be.

one other reason i think he is man-made IS jesus. looking at genesis, the problems given to adam and eve were done by this god (you can even say he set them up to eat the fruit). why did he need a child to undo that and why did he wait so long after to? break souls out of limbo, are you saying he couldn't do that himself?
another is the concept of angels and going to heaven. why would he create angels and then humans who have the possibility of becoming one?

@countrymusicaddict24
as for god and his reasons, i would surely like to know what's going on in his head. he wants to lord over the world, while having us only have an inkling of his existence, created humans only to destroy them should they twitch outside his boundaries and calls himself caring.
but these correlate to why i think he is man made. remember that he is all-knowing and planned everything out. could he have seen all these bad events and decided to let it slide?

i was never married, and sex and marriage really are not technically related. various religions, abrahamic especially, have made that association. and there is a big difference: a wife is tangible. she can be seen, felt (ohhhh yeah! XD), and heard. you can't do that with a god.
you can't just get what you want by wishing for it, you have to be active. if a marriage isn't working, find out what the problem is and fix it, even if it means breaking up.
