Flame throwers are crowd pleasing style weapons, their damage is minimal. At your best intense heat could possibly pop a belt off a drive train and cause swirl like scorch marks on the armor. Its only really effective against wooden armor and that would be laughed out of the arena before they get a chance to compete.

Sadly there are no points for "Style" but nothing gets the crowd going like flames. Many people now run systems so close to the edge that a few extra degrees can mean the difference between a win and a smoking motor or battery. As for the wood, i'm glad your such a fan of my work :)
