Chemical suppliers:
www.skylighter.com
www.americanpyrosupply.com

pyro tools shells, tubes etc.:
www.pyrocreations.com
www.pyrodirect.com

formulas used in this video were from the "brilliant red rubber star" and the "rainbow rubber stars" pages on skylighter.com. primes were the same from the pages, but parlon bound stars are not a new creation, nor a breakthrough. Parlon bound stars have been around for years, but the forulas on skylighter were created and based off of other formulas and were greatly refined.

Parlon stars are great, by far my favorite type of star to make, they are tough(i can't break them with my fingers), dont absorb water from the air, will last very long, give vibrant colors, they are cheap, can be tested while wet, and lastly they dry very quickly(within about 3 hours).

  • Nice vid and nice music )

I'm going to try a batch of these soon.

But i think i will just prime ,cut and dry instead of the complicated and tricky looking proces of priming, screen pressing, priming, rubbing, wiping ,more priming etc..

  • @tigerskinpants these are cut stars, just a different (not to mention faster) way to cut them. you also dont have to worry about cutting them to different sizes by accident, thankyou, pls subscribe.

  • Really enjoyed that vid, thanks for taking the time to make it, usualy cut my stars but I'll certainly give this a go, I have a batch of barium parlon mixed up ready!
