@gemslime33 If you talk to the elder in the Prayer Hall in Mysidia AFTER Palom and Porom are out of the party, he will give you the Cry and Bluff augments. MahaloVideoGames gave the Cry augment to Kain.

I used a bomb core and sacrificed yang before he was killed by the dragon

I flew through the game up to the point when this first came out on the SNES. Then I died about 20 times on this fight- not to mention the 50 or so with Calbrenna
