http://www.katsbits.com/tutorials/#virtualdevelopers - Parenting a mesh to an armature before exporting to CAL3D (Blender 2.45). Make sure to select the mesh *first* and *then* the armature; you're parenting the *mesh* to the *armature*.

  • I'm a fairly new IMVU developer but I've used Blender 3D since 2007 to make animation, so I know my way around Blender 3D. I was looking at the tutorial for creating animated pets for IMVU using Blender 3D and I didn't see a link to a template file like there is for the room and furniture tutorials. How can a person be sure of the proper placement of the nodes without a template?
