Here is my WALL-E painted with Equipment Yellow.
It was the closest I could get to CAT yellow and I think it looks good.
I think I will need to put one more coat of the yellow before I paint the flat black.

  • cool---- r u just building the figure or robot ? how much have u spent so far ? and how much are u planning on spending?

  • This was built as WALL-E as he looks in his compact mode.

I used 2 sheets of MDF, 1 sheet of Masonite, a sheet of 1.8" balsa wood, some quarter round molding, and some gesso, 2 cans of Equipment yellow paint, 1 can of flat black and 1 can aluminum paint.

I put about $75 to $100 into him.

This was also used to confirm my drawings.

The next one will be a full build with his head, arms and tracks deployed.

  • Lookin' HOT, Scott. Keep up the good work. Can't wait to see you start to weather him.

  • He's finished but I am not going to weather this one.

  • Thanks, 5 months of research and 2 of building makes for a good first attempt at WALL-E.

This build helped me figure out where my drawings need improved.

I posted the drawings in both pdf and CAD files in the files area of the WALL-E Builders.
